Hi, I’m Lea.

I became a therapist because this work changed my life. I know what it’s like to understand yourself intellectually — to be able to name the patterns, trace them back to their roots — and still feel stuck in them. I know what it’s like to long for connection while simultaneously bracing against it. And I know what it feels like when something finally shifts — not just in your mind, but in your body, in your relationships, in the way you move through the world.

That shift is what I’m here to support.

I work with individual adults and couples virtually across Ontario, helping people who are tired of surviving and ready to actually feel different. My approach is rooted in attachment theory — which means we look at the patterns you developed to stay safe, and we get genuinely curious about them rather than trying to bulldoze through them.

Together, we’ll work with the parts of you that have been carrying so much for so long. We’ll bring your nervous system into the room. And we’ll create real, embodied experiences of something new — not just talk about what could be different, but actually feel it.

I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindful Self-Compassion, CBT, exposure therapy, and nervous system psychoeducation.

But more than any modality, I bring a deep belief that you are not broken. You are adaptive. And with the right support, your whole system can learn a new way of being.

✨ Who I work with

Adults navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck in old patterns

Couples who love each other but keep missing each other

People who are self-aware but can’t seem to close the gap between knowing and feeling

Anyone ready to do more than cope — ready to genuinely heal

🚫 Who I’m not the right fit for:

I work best with clients who are open, curious, and willing to be in a genuinely collaborative relationship.

This is a space where all clients feel fully safe, seen, and respected — and that’s something I hold as non-negotiable.

My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and develop greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

I work primarily with adults, with a particular interest in supporting women through life’s many transitions and challenges. This may include career and relationship changes, anxiety and stress, self-worth, ADHD and neurodiversity, parenting and caregiving, returning to work after parental leave, or finding a new sense of identity. I also have a particular interest in supporting people navigating infertility and adoption, as well as parents and families of gender-diverse youth.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years as a hairdresser and salon owner, building long-term relationships with people from many different backgrounds. I also have a background in holistic nutrition and a longstanding interest in wellness and the mind-body connection. My approach is person-centred and strength-based, drawing from ACT, CBT, EFT, compassion- and mindfulness-based approaches, and somatic therapies. Together, we can find an approach that fits your concerns, goals, and needs.
